I have been diagnosed with HSV1, not only oral but also on my eyes. I've only had a handful of outbreaks. They're so rare that I've spent the last 3 days thinking I've had conjunctivitis in one eye when it has just hit me that I think it's actually an outbreak.

Two of the photos are my current outbreak where you can see the small sores on my lower waterline, and the other photo is the previous outbreak which was about 4 years ago. You can see a cluster of blisters in the outer corner.

When I have an outbreak my eye can be quite tender to blink and quite gunky like conjunctivitis.
